X-Ray Film Processors and Chemicals

X-Ray Film Processors:

Euroteck Systems are the UK and Ireland distributors of Protec GmbH and Dürr NDT X-ray film processing equipment and chemistry.

Established in 1984, Protec produce the Optimax 2010 NDT, Optimax 2010 NDT Mobile and Compact 2 for NDT.

In addition to the NDT range, we can also supply Medical, Veterinary and Mammography variants of the Optimax 2010 and Compact 2 – Please contact us to discuss your application.

Optimax 2010 NDT – The Optimax 2010 NDT has been designed for NDT applications. The containers for the regeneration and used chemicals are stored conveniently below the tanks on an optional open working table. A mobile version of the Optimax 2010 NDT is also available, typically used in mobile darkrooms.

All equipment shown above is compatible with the Dürr NDT “Green” X-ray Chemistry described below.

X-Ray Film Processing Chemistry

Green” X-Ray Chemistry – The unique benefits and special features:

Single bottle system: No starter or additives needed. Simply mix the concentrate with water and you’re done. Can be supplied in either 6 litre containers to make 20 litres of solution, or 1.5 litres containers to make 5 litres of solution.

Efficient: When regeneration is used, considerably lower regeneration rates are possible than with conventional chemicals.

Freezing and Thawing: Even when the product is frozen and thawed (e.g. during transport), the usability is not compromised and is guaranteed.

70% less cleaning: The formulation with Vitamin C means that cleaning cycles can be carried out far less frequently.

Certified: BAM certificated. Works on all known X-ray film processors and X-ray films.

Non-Hazardous to Health: The removal of carcinogens (aldehyde and hydroquinone) means that there is no risk to health.

Non-Hazardous Goods: As the chemicals do not contain any hazardous substances, the product can be transported using conventional means without the need for the carriage of dangerous goods regulations.

Almost odour neutral: More pleasant almost neutral developer odour.

Shelf life: At least 24 months storage stability.
