Computed and Digital Radiography Training for ASNT Level III’s

5 Day (40 hour) Training Course in CR/DR at Tamworth – Start Date 8th June 2015.

Euroteck and Dürr NDT will deliver a 5 day (40 hour) training course according to ASNT Level III renewal program at its offices and factory at Tamworth. The first training course is scheduled for week commencing 8th June 2015.

ASNT NDT Certificate holders are permitted to renew by points at five year intervals unless recertification by examination is required by another third party. Renewal by points are claimed by submitting documentation indicating that certain requirements have been met and does not require examination. The ASNT NDT Level III program permits ASNT Level III certificate holders to renew by “points” at 5-year intervals. The “points” system requires that certificate holders earn 25 points during their current 5-year certification period for NDT-related activities.

Attendees of our training course (of 40 hours theoretical and hands-on-training) can apply those training hours for ASNT NDT Level III recertification points up to the 10-point limit shown for Category B on the Points table on page 5 of the Level III recertification application form. All attendees with full participation will receive a certificate.

The 40 hour training course will be both theoretical and practical using both CR and DR technologies in Euroteck’s in-house X-Ray facilities. Attendees will have the opportunity to develop techniques for inspection of non-ferrous castings, aerospace components including blades and pipe welds as well as carbon composites.

This course will suite candidates new to CR & DR and also LIII practitioners who have already made the move from conventional radiography to digital radiography and are seeking a more in depth understanding of the technology and its application.

Each attendee will receive a folder with a complete set of course notes relating to the training and all of the topics covered. Attendees will also receive a limited use version of the Dürr D-Tect software for their own use. The cost of the course is £935 + VAT per attendee.

The course will also be of interest to current Level II’s looking to progress to Level III in CR or DR.

Places are strictly limited and interested parties are encouraged to reserve their place as soon as possible.
