DURR Release CR7 small plate scanner

DURR introduce the CR7 NDT Scanner

A true desktop scanner ( A4 footprint), for those small quality inspection tasks was introduced at the recent 10TH European Conference on NDT Moscow 2010

The Durr CR 7 NDT has been designed to meet the needs of critical inspections where the use of small imaging plates is mandated.

Imaging plates from 2 x 3cm up to 6 x 10 cm can be used with this scanner.

The compact size of the scanner makes this an ideal choice for both on site and in house inspections. The adjustable laser focal spot (12.5µ- 50µ) means that the system can be used for a wide range of applications. The system works with a High Spec’ PC and the Durr D-Tect software platform designed specifically for NDT Radiographic application

Small imaging plates are scanned quickly even at high resolution, making the system very productive for volume applications.  No templates or fixtures are required; the image is automatically cropped to the size of imaging plate being used.

The CR7 NDT combines speed , excellent image quality as good as film and the ability to scan small imaging plates without any trade off.
